Southern Californian singer/songwriter, Sam Ritchie is preparing to release his debut album later this year. The latest single from the album is “When?” Mixing elements of funk and synth pop, the song reminds me of Cuco but instead of self-depricating lyrics, Ritchie is more emotion. He said the song is about “someone who would be in my life one second and gone the next.” He continued “I don’t think anyone should waste time on hoping someone will stay and we should all enjoy the time we have.”
