Calgary-duo, Self-Cut Bangs just released their self-titled debut album. The lead single from the album is “Perfect Posture.” A mix of distorted guitar jangle pop guitars and noisy drums, the song sounds like Ex Hex covering R.E.M. With a repeated chorus of “chin up, chin up, It’s time to stand up,” the song feels like a perfect anthem for the times.
