Brighton band, Shady Baby just released their new single, “Lonely Town.” Lead singer, Sam Leaver describes the song as “about the creeping sense that you’re becoming detached from yourself and the people around you, whilst trying to keep a lid on it and act normal.” While the subject matter is melancholic, the music is actually quite upbeat mixing elements of garage rock revival and Britpop. It ends up sounding somewhere between Blur and FIDLAR.
