Sweden’s The Sweet Serenades are preparing to release their new album, City Lights on February 23rd. The latest single from the album is “The Night Goes On.” The man behind the moniker, Martin Nordvall said in order to record the song he asked himself “How would Lana Del Rey sound like if she was from the north of Sweden, male, slightly older and not cool?” Apparently Nordvall thinks Lana would sound like Ville Valo from HIM in an 80s darkwave band being remixed by Yello.
