talker “Easygoing”

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, talker recently released her single, “Easygoing.” She calls it “one of my most honest songs, and one of the scariest to release.” In the song, she describes an anxious attachment style noting “I’ve never seen my parents kiss/that has something to do with it/I only want the opposite.” She sings all of this over acoustic guitars and “Hangin’ Tough”-style drums. It feels like a nice bridge between the bedroom pop of Olivia Rodrigo and the more folky Boygenius material.
