Los Angeles-based artist, Thrill You Kill You just released her new single, “Ping Pong.” Mixing elements of bubblegum pop, synth rock, and happy hardcore, the song has the energy of train careening off the rails. Thrill You Kill You describes the lyrics as “exploring what it takes to fall in love. How to indulge in the ephemeral, and the cognitive dissonance that love demands. When you know it might not last, but you wanna play anyway.” It makes the chorus of “all I wanna do is play ping pong with you” seem a little deeper than it might on the surface.
