Los Angeles based artist, TiLLie just released her new single, “hell yeah!” The track mixes elements of alt-rock and 90s electro punk; TiLLie said “I’d been listening to a lot to Blur, The Prodigy, and old UK garage stuff; so I found myself digging through breakbeat drum samples when I came across the one that became the basis for [the track].” Mixing in fuzzed-out bass and TiLLie’s apathetic lyrics like “hell yeah I didn’t die today,” she really brings the feel of the 90s in to modernity.
