Edgewater, MD’s Toobs is preparing to release his debut EP, Cults. The lead single from the album, “Worms,” mixes elements of post-punk and garage rock in one jittery package. The lyrics match the music’s pace seeming frenetic and not always connected. Robert Dakota Bragg sings non sequiturs like “Duct tape works good in a pinch” and “I pay 100 bucks an hour for a shit shrink,” but it all goes into building the idea of a cluttered mind.
