Premiere: Wright Brothers “Intro” + “Views” (official music video)

If you Google “Wright Brothers,” you are going to find a lot of information about Orville and Wilbur, the North Carolinians credited with inventing the airplane. We are talking about the Wright Brothers, Jahmar and Dio; the Denver hip hop duo dropped their album, Listen to My Tape earlier this month. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the video for the album’s intro into “Views.” The duo are in their element rapping over a minimalistic trap beat with dreamy synths as heard on “Views.” The video is a great introduction to the brothers as they rap around Denver about their fallen comrade Lil Dee and their friends in jail cells. Reminiscent of lyricists like the Geto Boys, and citing influences like Tupac, the Wright Brothers look and sound like they are on to something from a city not typically known for its hip hop scene.
