Toronto-based duo, YSSY are preparing to release their debut EP in February 2020. The EP’s latest single is “Burn My House Down.” With noisy drums provided by Rich Knox of Danko Jones, singer-songwriter/producer Elliot Caroll and multi-instrumentalist/producer Simeon Abbott craft catchy piano-centric pop track. The song seems to be cheery enough until all the instruments drop out except for piano and Elliot sings “so I’m gonna burn my house down.” I guess that’s one solution when you don’t want to live somewhere anymore.
