New York City producer, Hyperbits is known for his heavy electro production. California’s Carousel are known for their 80s-tinged chill synthpop. When the two powers combine, the result is interesting to say the least. Hyperbits’ remix of “Not Enough” starts off nicely with Carousel’s chill vocals over shuffling house beat. Then two-minutes in Hyperbits’ hit the drop to a heavy, dirty synth breakdown. It just doesn’t mesh with the rest of the track or Carousel’s style.
