Melbourne-based indie rock band, The Clever References just released their single, “Big Sad.” The band said the song is their attempt to make blues for millennials. The result is a tongue-in-cheek indie pop track filled with banal complaints and a fun bridge of “woo-hoo-hoo-hoo”s.
The band announced that all proceeds from the single will go to CFA (Country Fire Authority) which in their own words: “is a volunteer and community based fire and emergency services organisation” to help fight the brushfires in Australia.
