Austin trio, Fanclub released their debut EP, All the Same in January. Putting out the EP did not slow the band down. Hot on the heels of that release, they dropped a new single “Imprint.” The track mixes elements of twee pop and kraut-rock to create an evenhanded but cute sound. Don’t let the music fool you, the song is actually very sad. It’s about being in a relationship and modeling yourself into what the other person wants until you are just an imprint of them.
