Los Angeles band, Forebear arose out of the ashes of Wise Cub and are preparing to release their debut album, Good God. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the album’s new single, “Podunk Palace.” With its mixture rollicking of electric guitars and viola, the track has a bit of a Kansas “Point of No Return” feel to it. The tempo changes add to the prog-rock pathos but Forebear are not just aiming for the Rush fans; the musicianship and catchy chorus make “Podunk Palace” a true crowd pleaser.
