Brooklyn-based indie pop band, Little Person are preparing to release their EP, I Feel Fine, on April 3rd. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the full stream of the album. Comprised of twins, Nicky and Max Weinbach, the group has a clear affinity for reverbed guitar arpeggios and vocal harmonies. Nicky say of the album: “Two years ago in San Francisco, we watched the movie Love and Mercy and were super into it. Afterwards we were like, ‘We should totally make a new record,’ and this is what we came up with: our attempt at timeless pop tunes, clearly infused with a deep appreciation for the Beach Boys and vintage craftsmanship.”
While the Beach Boys are an obvious influence, you can hear elements of R.E.M., Real Estate, and The Smiths in Little Person’s sound. I Feel Fine features the perfect sound as the weather turns from winter to spring.
The band will have their record release party tonight at Pete’s Candy Store.
