Berlin DJ, Mia Amare teamed up with Australian singer-songwriter, Sarah Bird to cover A-ha’s ’80s classic “Take On Me.” Covering such a well-known song comes with some pitfalls but the two artists manage to make some fun choices in arrangement. For instance, the iconic keyboard line from the original is instead sung vocally by Bird–something you might not expect from such an electronic song. Although the autotune on the chorus is a bit of a bummer, the song overall is a fun re-imagination of the original.
