Dallas rapper, Garrett V. just sent me his new track, “Beverely Hills Ride.” The track is a combo of autotuned chorus and rapped verses. The rapped verses are what caught me off guard. Garrett’s voice reminds me of one of the guys from The Lonely Island, except Garrett is trying to be serious. The association hurts Garrett’s impression in my mind a little overall but it is not a bad track.
