Los Angeles-based duo, Supperclub have written and produced songs for other artists like Banners and Octavio but did not start releasing their own music until earlier this year. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the duo’s second single, “We Are The Stars.”
Inspired by the Carl Sagan quote “we are a way for the universe to know itself…we’re made of star stuff,” the track is an anthem for unity and equality. Mixing Nigerian style guitars with a tribal house beat and distorted vocals, the track is reminiscent of CSS or Sofi Tukker. With any luck, Supperclub will soon have the same name recognition as those two artists.
