Pittsburgh based band, The Van Allen Belt recently released a new LP called Heaven On A Branch, their 3rd self-released LP. Surviving the Golden Age is pleased to premiere the band’s new video for the song “Different Storm.” Directed by Tamar Kamin, the video is a clinic in mise-en-scène. Shot as a black and white silent film about a woman in a hospital, the use of shadow and imagery is reminiscent of Fritz Lang’s M. Soundtracked by The Van Allen Belt’s light indie bossa nova sound, The “Different Storm” mini-movie is easy to be captivated by.
