Los Angeles-based producer, A/S/L recently released his new single, “Eros.” Beginning with a high-pass of a disco sample, the first drop hits like a rock bringing in a thumping four-on-the-floor beat. Later bass and additional brass elements are added to the jittery sampled pianos and pitch-shifted vocals. It ends up sounding somewhere between Duck Sauce and the Avalanches.
