Boston-based singer/songwriter, Adam Jensen just released his single, “Inmate 8576.” Jensen wrote the song about a recent stint he did in prison. “I went to prison for a few months last summer for assault with dangerous weapon,” Jensen admits. “I was defending my little sister from two scumbags who were harassing and threatening her while following her home from a bar. That’s all I’m going to say about that.” While imprisoned, Jensen wrote “Inmate 8576” on a piece of brown paper bag, using an anti-shank pen he found in the yard. Fully produced, the track mixes elements of rock and electro to create a sound similar to AWOLnation or Alex Clare.
