Premiere: ARB “All Day”

New York City’s Alyssa Rallo Bennett is perhaps best known as a movie director/producer. Going by her initials ARB for her music career, she is preparing to release her debut LP, Anymore. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere her new single, “All Day.”

Produced by Kevin Spencer Kendrick, the track combines elements of 90s alternative and pop punk to create an energetic mix. Featuring crunchy guitars and driving drums, Bennett’s vocals remind me of Nina Gordon from Veruca Salt; they are fairly clean but have just enough punk sneer. With lyrics about overcoming a daily routine to push to be creative, the song feel like a perfect pandemic anthem.
