Back in August, Oakland producer An-Ten-Nae released their single, “Grinding.” Two months later the track gets the remix treatment from English duo, Mystic State. The biggest element kept from the original is High Tara’s vocal performance. Otherwise Mystic State takes the original dubstep track and really ups the dub elements; they create complex percussion programming paired with a strong bassline to form a grooving riddim for the vocals to live on top of. The vocals were recorded in Kingston Jamaica and the remix really brings them back there.
