Self proclaimed “Appalachian Soul Man”, Aristotle Jones is preparing to release his new LP, Mountain Doo-Wop & The Streets of Osage on July 28th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the new single from the album, “Best Nest.”
“‘Best Nest’ is a throwback song that celebrates the melodic inspirations of nature found in the Appalachian Countryside,” said Jones. With an acoustic guitar backbone, flourishes of horns, lush organ, and jaunty drums help boost the tune.
“The sweet and playful lyrics provide a new perspective on a simple truth that strong relationships require sturdy foundations,” said Jones. “Because everyone knows that the best nests are built in the trees with the deepest roots.”
