Basic Physics is one of those artists I have watched grow over the last two years. He has gone from relatively unknown mashup artist to one of the biggest names in the blogosphere but Basic Physics has made a brave decision. He announced that he is moving on from mashups to focus on production. In a letter to me, Basic Physics (nee Alex Syse) writes “With the evolution of EDM, I have realized that making the jump from mashups/bootlegs is not only vital, but something that should almost be expected.” So congratulations to Alex for making the jump. Enjoy his final bootleg (for now), “Feed My Heart.”
