Bathe Alone “Calm Down”

Atlanta multi-instrumentalist, Bathe Alone (nee Bailey Crone) is preparing to release her debut LP, Last Looks this summer. The latest single from the album is “Calm Down,” a lush dream pop track. Crone wrote the song to mimic panic attacks that she has suffered from for the last half decade. “The guitar melodies do a lot of descending and ramping up/screaming as if you’re in the peak of an attack.” She continues “the drums never quit the entire time, and bring this sense of adrenaline that one feels during an attack or even simmering right before an attack.” Its an artful way to express the sensation of an attack to those who have never suffered one.
