Los Angeles’ Billy Tibbals is preparing to release his sophomore EP Nightlife Stories on April 26 via Silver Arrow Records. The short-players lead single is “Burn Out!.” Inspired by the glam rock of the 70s, you can hear shades of 10cc or David Bowie in the big guitar sound and Elton John in the piano stabs. It is a throwback sound but it is done with charisma and energy.
