Atlanta’s The Black Sheet Party just released their self-titled debut EP. The lead single, “Thank God, This Is Gonna Hurt” sets the mood for the album. With fuzzed out guitar and driving drums, the track has a skuzzy punk energy that is only enhanced by the lyrics. Singer/songwriter, Mumblin’ Mutt describes the song as “[striving] to convey a love of bdsm” and “[setting] the scene for all the kinky, lo-fi rock n’ roll to follow.”
