Los Angeles based, Blondfire just released her new single, “Marigold.” Written with her brother, Freedom Fry‘s Bruce Discoll and her husband, Wally Gagel, the track has a definitively Britpop feel. Blondfire nee Erica Driscoll said “I had been going back and listening to a lot of my favorite bands like Oasis, Catherine Wheel, The Stone Roses, etc., so there’s definitely a nod to the 90’s in this one.” With Driscoll’s soaring vocals and the song’s uplifting message, the release feels perfectly timed for the era of Covid-19.
