Sydney based multi-instrumentalist and producer Luke Moseley aka Butternut Sweetheart is preparing to release his second EP. The lead single from the album is “If The World Wasn’t Round.” Mixing elements of psychedelic, indie, and prog rock, the song sounds somewhere between Muse and Pinback. As described by Moseley “‘If the World Wasn’t Round’ started as a song mourning the coldness of a dear friend and ended up as a scramble to find a path back to reality.” If that doesn’t sound psychedelic, I don’t know what does.
