Asheville, North Carolina’s C.Shreve the Professor teams up with Grammy Award-winning vocalist/producer King Garbage for the new single, “Oooh (AVL).” As the story goes, King Garbage sent a number of half finished tracks to the Professor–some with only drums and some with only vocals. Shreve loved one of the vocals only tracks and decided to chop it up on his drum machine and use the vocal tones as an instrument. The result is an ethereal sounding beat that the Professor uses as a backdrop for his stream-of-consciousness verses, a mixture of swagger and self-reflection.
