Vancouver band, Colour Tongues are preparing to release their debut album, Midnight Island later this year. The second single from the album is “Fire.” Beginning with guitar noodling that sounds straight out of an early American Football album, the track morphs into an arena-sized rock song with lush vocal harmonies and reverb-drenched guitars. The band said of the track that it is “about the strain and anger felt in familial bonds that, when left unchecked for years, can come to a boil and threaten to burn those connections down.”
