Staten Island quartet, Cymbals Eat Guitars are preparing to release a new album, Pretty Years on September 16th. The band just released their new single, “4th Of July, Philadelphia (SANDY).” The title is a Bruce Springsteen reference, but the track sounds nothing like the Boss. With its fuzzed out bass and Joseph D’Agostino sounding like he’s trying to sing in a register a little too deep for his range, the track is certainly an interesting follow up to the band’s well loved 2014 album, Lose.
