Deep Sea Fire “The Forest”

San Francisco-based producer, Deep Sea Fire just dropped his second single, “The Forest.” “[The track] is about the giddy feelings of magic you experience in the very early stages of a relationship,” explained Azim Pradhan, the man behind the moniker. That giddiness comes out in the song’s playful production with a deep house beat, funky bass, and accent string plucks. The real production feat comes during the catchy chorus of chopped up vocals and Bloc Party-esque stuttering guitar. While “The Forest” isn’t quite EDM or synth pop or indie rock, it does combine elements of each genre flawlessly.
