Kansas City, Kansas rapper Dewey Da Don teams up with fellow Kansas City, Missouri’s Tech N9ne for the new single, “Damn.” Over a moody piano-filled beat, the two rappers trade verses. Dewey Da Don fills his verses with witty wordplay and pop cultural references, mentioning both McLovin and Five Guys in a short span of time. Tech N9ne takes a different approach. Altering his flow to work around the beat, it gives his verse a more complex feel; although he is a little more straight forward lyrically. It seems it doesn’t matter which side of the Missouri River you come from, you can still murder a beat.
