Florida’s DigDog released their latest album, Homeless Theatre at the end of 2021. The latest single from the album is “Highfingers.” Vocalist Brad Metz’s long, drawn out syllables gives a dreamy feel reminiscent of Pinback while the off-kilter guitar arpeggios and strong bass are more akin to Primus. With lyrics about the frivolity of chasing money and accolades, the track is a sobering, thought-provoking tune.
