On December 10th, Florida’s DigDog will release their album, Homeless Theatre. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their new single, “One Guarantee.” The track straddles the line between alternative rock, indie, and post-punk. You can hear shades of Pinback in the creeping guitar arpeggios that open the song. As the song develops and gets heavier, it begins to sound more like System of a Down with singer Brad Metz’ drawn out vocal syllables and some of the more outwardly sociopolitical lyrics. “One Guarantee” ends up being a virtuosic and thought provoking track.
