There is a certain amount of irony involved with Ducktails called their new single “Headbanging In The Mirror.” For one, it is nearly impossible to headbang to. The track’s sweeping guitar arpeggios create a lush soundscape that is beautiful but essentially impossible to headbang. At best, I could see a montage of headbanging put in slow-mo set to the single but this certainly ain’t Metallica (thank God).
