Former Foster the People member, Phil Danyew just released his debut single as Elephant Castle. The track is called “Cool To Be Unhappy.” Danyew said the song “is about a girl I once loved who thought it was cool to be unhappy. Needless to say, It didn’t work out.” So it makes sense that the track feels fairly happy. With a psychedelic pop feel similar to Tame Impala, there is a 60’s sunniness to “Cool To Be Unhappy.”
