EmptyMansions is the new project from Sam Forgarino of Interpol. The band’s debut album, snakes/vultures/sulfate was released today so to celebrate, they released a cover of Neil Young‘s “Down By The River Now.” The cover is highly atmospheric with a wall of dark buzzing guitars and reverbed vocals.
