New York City quartet, The Fictionals recently released their debut single, “Fresh Air.” Opening with dubby bass and sharp guitar stabs, it is easy to draw comparisons to post-punk legends like Gang of Four or Fugazi. The crooning vocals are a little more Paul Banks than Jon King but it is only right to embrace the New York legends that came before them.
