Portland, Maine’s Fonfon Ru are preparing to re-release last year’s Death and Taxes on cassette via Repeating Cloud. One of the tracks exclusive to the re-release is “Worst Case Scenario.” Beginning with fuzzed out guitars and adding driving drums, the track bubbles with punk energy. It sounds somewhere between Cloud Nothings‘ “Stay Useless” and Pere Ubu’s “Non-Alignment Pact.”
