Michigan band, Foundry Town Survivors are preparing to release their new single, “Blue Sky” on May 27th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the track.
“Blue Sky” is the follow up to the band’s 2021 self-title debut EP. With an acoustic guitar backbone enhanced by drawn out piano stabs, the track has a heartland rock feel. Additions of some retro-future synths and layering of vocals might push “Blue Sky” in a prog-rock direction but Foundry Town Survivors’ knack for melody keeps the song accessible to everyone.
