After working with artists such as Talib Kweli and Nas, producer Farhot moved away from his straightforward hip-hop productions to something a little different under his alter ego Fuchy. He recently released his sophomore album, Praliné. The latest single from the album is “Pistaccio.” Teaming up with labelmate, AgaJon, the two create a track that mixes hip hop drums with swirling synths, funky bass, and Nile Rodgers-esque guitar flourishes. It creates a sound that feels simultaneously very retro and modern.
