The Good Graces are gearing up to release their new LP, Prose and Consciousness on October 11th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their new single “Wants + Needs.”
“As I’m getting older, more and more I’m finding it challenging to balance things I want to do with things I have to do,” says lead singer/songwriter Kim Ware, “and sometimes the lines are really blurry.” But “Wants + Needs” isn’t a sad song but more a song of balance both in message and musically. The track at its heart is a folk song but the 50s girl group guitars and country slide guitar solo balances out “Wants + Needs” nicely.
