Bands used to have to play innumerable gigs before recording a single and even more gigs before gaining any type of attention. While some bands still follow that model, there is certainly different trajectories available today. Like Brooklyn based quintet, Isadora who played their first show ever last night. Before playing their first show, they released their debut single “On the Rights” which was premiered by Interview Magazine. A national magazine premiered a song by a band who had never released another song or had ever played a show. This is a strange world indeed.
