Canadian artist, Iskwé just released her new single, “Waiting For The Laughter.” Produced by 7x Grammy nominee Damian Taylor, the track is reminiscent of some of Taylor’s previous work with artists like Björk and Arcade Fire. There are elements of avant garde and chamber pop present but the song is centered around Iskwé’s emotive vocal performance. She sings with a mixture of swagger and vulnerability that is hard to come by. It makes for a captivating single.
