Berkshires-based rapper, Jackson Whalan just dropped his new single, “No Matter What.” Although the single was just released, Whalan said “I started this song in 2015 when I was living in Brooklyn, New York. It sat on my hard drive collecting digital dust for years. I kept re-writing the lyrics and trying to max out my lyrical abilities.” He does exactly that over the old school hip hop beat. Working around the beat in interesting ways, Whalan fills his lines with in rhymes which makes the lines sound complex yet still very comprehendible.
