Parisian duo, Jaffna just released their new album, Odyssey. The latest single from the album is “Roots.” A shuffling house beat is enhanced by auxiliary percussion and droning synths. Haunting ambient vocals are added to create the catchy melody and propel “Roots” ever forward. It is catchy and danceable, yet melancholic.
