Jonathan Lee first came to my consciousness producing tracks for rapper Yyou and Filip Filipi. His style was always somewhat experimental but nothing could prepare listeners for “Flying Violins,” a modern classical piece featuring mostly violin, flute and piano. While the piece is undoubtedly beautiful, I wonder how many of Lee’s fans will follow him down this rabbit hole.
